Royal West Norfolk Golf Club, Brancaster
"Incredibly difficult, unforgiving and if the wind is blowing some holes are virtually impossible... an absolutely brilliant golfing experience." Public review, top100golfcourses.com
Royal West Norfolk Golf Club (Brancaster) is an outstanding links course set on the North Norfolk coast. With the North Sea on one side and the saltmarsh on the other it has a wonderfully atmospheric setting and continues to be rated highly in all of the recognised Golf Course Rankings Lists (golfworldtop100.com; Top 100 Golf Courses; golf-monthly.co.uk).
Visitors are welcome, although numbers are strictly limited. This, together with the fact that only two-balls are allowed, keeps the speed of play up, with most rounds being completed in three hours. This should mean that you have enough time to visit the excellently stocked Pro Shop and discover the friendly welcome at the traditional clubhouse, serving wines, cask ales and a good selection of home-cooked food.
The Ladies Open will take place on Wednesday 7 July 2021; view the Starting Sheet.
